The Vulkan Gloves are gloves made by Morlok. As with the other Vulkan Series parts, they require 3,500 Faction Credits and 250 Zeta tokens to purchase from the faction armory. Wearing this armor piece also reduces projectile damage taken by 15%.
Because of its health bonus, health regeneration, and projectile damage resistance, Vulkan Gloves were formerly used in builds that focused specifically on reaching the highest wave possible in Apocalypse mode. However, such builds have since been made obsolete due to the addition of armor penetration scaling in 1.10.2. Since Vulkan Gloves do not provide any reload bonus, buying and using them in current versions of the game is not recommended.
Trivia[]
Despite the armor itself canonically offering protection from the extreme heat of Zeta, it actually doesn't provide the most thermal damage protection in-game.
