"The twin-bullet sabot Tombstone is the Smokestack entry into the machine gun class. Closer to an assault rifle than a machine gun the Tombstone packs quite a punch with simply appalling accuracy."

Addition of Tombstone and Medusa Boots in mobile.

The Tombstone is a fully automatic Energy LMG made by Smoke Stack and added to SAS: Zombie Assault 4 in the first expansion pack. It has a relatively low movement penalty, relatively fast reload time, and big capacity, but its damage per shot is low, and it has a very wide spread. These features make it hard to kill a single target, but it does work well against crowds.

Trivia[]

  • Its appearance slightly resembles the Russian PPSH-41, the German Grossfuss Sturmgewehr, or the Finnish Suomi KP/-31. All three of these weapons were used during World War II.
  • In keeping with Smoke Stack's Western theme, the Tombstone is likely named after the town of Tombstone, Arizona, where the famous Gunfight at the O.K. Corral took place.
  • This is one of only three LMGs with 2 pierce, the other two being the RIA T40 and the Z-5 Heavy.
  • Following a recent update, the Tombstone and Mixmaster underwent major adjustments. Both had their rate of fire halved to what they have now, and the Tombstone was made a twin-shot. Although originally inaccurate, the twin-shot allows for more accuracy at the cost of half of its original fire rate.
