- "Generates super-hot large-burst plasma bolts. Ultra Power Cell technology allows for dozens of bursts before recharge is needed. "
- ―Official description
The T-102 Jagdfaust is an automatic Energy Rocket Launcher introduced in SAS: Zombie Assault 4. Although it does not have the sheer damage potential of the T-101 Feldhaubitz or the sheer RoF of the Gebirgskanone, it strikes a fine balance between the 2 weapons and adds in several new advantages.
Overview[]
Most tend to treat the weapon as a primary other than a boss killer. 1st, the T-102 Jagdfaust is the 1 of the 8 rocket launchers (along with the Luftplatzen, HIKS 3100, Vitriol, HIKS S4000, CM X-1 Furie, Zerfallen, & Torment) not to do Physical damage. This alone gives it a specific niche in combat, & lets a rocket launcher specialist take down Chitinous Hide zombies and Shielders as they have no Energy resistance, unless they have the respective resistance buff.
2nd, it is a much more mobile rocket launcher than its contemporaries, being faster to reload, having a smaller movement penalty, and having the 2nd largest clip size of all rocket launchers (behind the HIKS 3100 with 60 shots in the clip), allowing for the user to be more flexible in their use.
Unfortunately, given its specialized ammo, the T-102 Jagdfaust is a pricey rocket launcher, costing 1,200 SAS credits for 50 rounds of ammunition (10 times as much for the version). As a result, a player who wishes to run the Jagdfaust frequently will want to have built up a substantial nest of money beforehand (playing Nightmare matches helps tremendously). Due to its expensive ammo however, an advantage would be having a vast number of skill points in Field Supplies.
Trivia[]
- Going along with the theme of the Teknoboom weapons, the Jagdfaust's name is German, translating to "hunting fist."
- The T-102 Jagdfaust is stronger than the HIKS 3100 (in terms of damage) in their standard versions, but the latter is stronger in the
&
versions.
- This gun has the same damage as the MPG.
- The T-102 Jagdfausts part of the stock from the PC version is glowing and the mobile is not.
- This gun has received a "Christmas Edition", named "Let it Snow". Its description is "I know it all ends tomorrow, so it has to be today.".
