"Shotlite's base level handgun. Small clip, decent damage and as light as a feather."
―Official Description

The Sabre is a semi-automatic pistol in SAS: Zombie Assault 4. Powerful for a sidearm, its only drawbacks are its smaller clip size and semi-auto fire mode.

It is an excellent upgrade to the RIA 313 and CM 202, as it is effectively an intensified version of said guns. If augmented well with reloading speed & damage & clip size, Sabre will remains useful for several levels or until players get Ronson 45. Although like other pistols it is not recommended you use pistols in the first place.

Trivia[]

  • Its name may be reference to North American F-86 Sabre or North American F-100 Super Sabre.
  • It appears to be based on the COP .357 Derringer - a 4-shot Derringer-type pistol. Coincidentally, both COP & Sabre (PC version) have compact size for each.
  • It also appears to be a lower grade of the Phantom (PC version), just having a less graphically-complex barrel and no stock as well as a much shorter ejection port for bullet casings, which the black variant doesn't have.
  • The [RED] Version version of the Sabre from the PC seem to have a rank stripes but the mobile version doesn't have.
  • the PC [RED] Version Sabre has two red chevrons that Rubicon Industries have on their armor.
  • The Mobile and Steam Renditions of the Sabre have been mostly redesigned from the PC version of the game, featuring a handle Guard and a longer front end of the weapon.
