The RIA 8A is a submachine gun. It costs 80 NK coins. Despite being a gun, the RIA 7 can easily compete with this gun.

Overview[]

This new weapon came out from the 3/3/16 update. It has average DpS for a SMG, yet falls under other SMGs whenever compared to the and versions of other SMGs.

The RIA 8A, as said, was a prototype of what became the RIA 7. The RIA 8A is better in almost all categories when compared to the normal version and the version of the RIA 7, and is cheaper to Augment and use then the RIA 7.

It isn't recommended past level 30, due to many other guns found at that level doing double or triple the damage this gun does, and it being the weakest SMG and possibly of the whole collection when considering DPS.

The upsides of this gun include the standard extras that come with all , being free augmenting to reach its full potential, cheap ammo, and with using this weapon gives extra EXP for the SMG Mastery and for leveling up.

Design[]

Similar RIA 15 SE's case, RIA 8A resembles MP5 with a large handguard and an angled foregrip. As a , it has golden parts with hexagon patterns.

Trivia[]

It is the lightest PREM weapon in the game, mainly due to it being an SMG.
It is quite strange that a Prototype could be more powerful in every aspect, and be reduced to a lower standard, even for cost reasons.
- This is likely due to common misconception built through various media that a prototype is extremely powerful, to the point where it bent the definition of the word itself.
