"Powerful submachine gun suited for confined spaces. Large clip allows for long bursts."
―Official description

The RIA 7 is a full auto SMG made by Rubicon Industries. It is most likely one of the first weapons you will receive. The RIA 7 is a nice step up from the poor starter gear your character comes with, though keep in mind that it does have a lower DPS than the Z-5 Heavy. It isn't anything worth keeping for a long time, but it will deal with most of the zombies you will encounter at the level it drops at. It has a good sized clip and an above average fire rate, but low damage. Due to its low damage it is not particularly useful for bosses, so it is usually best to save the gun for weaker zombies.

This weapon is best set for lower level players, and it's best to sell it it once more powerful guns come along, such as the CM 351 Sunflare or the RIA 20 DSC.

RIA 7

Design[]

RIA 7 is an SMG resembling MP5 (close to MP5K) with a short buttstock.

Build info[]

It is not recommended that you in any way invest in augmentations for the RIA7 due to it's poor viability in the meta, however if you do wish to augment then the best augments would be deadly/adaptive/capacity/overclocked (If you have a fourth augment slot)

Trivia[]

  • There is a Thermal variant to the RIA 7 known as the RIA T7.
