The M41A Pulse Rifle is a premium weapon available in SAS: Zombie Assault 2. Unlike its Grendel counterpart, it fires in 4-round burst and has a blue coating.
Overview[]
The M41A Pulse Rifle is one of the most powerful weapons available in the game, able to kill almost any zombie in a matter of seconds. Its major advantages include its large 200-round magazine, combined with its high damage and piercing ability. Rather than firing in fully automatic, the M41A actually fires in 4-round burst. This is more of a feature than an advantage or disadvantage.
On the upside, its 4 round burst allows for conserving ammunition, and can be pulsed in quick enough succession to allow plenty of rounds downrange. However, due to its high damage and penetrating ability, 4 rounds will often result in overkill and can waste ammo if fighting individual zombies or small groups rather than a horde.
