The M249 SAW is an LMG featured in SAS: Zombie Assault 3. It is unlocked at Rank 32. The SAW costs $150,000, and ammunition costs $750 for 250 rounds. It is a popular LMG due to its fairly high power and clip size. Having a clip of 400, the SAW beats all LMGs, except the M134 Minigun; although the Browning M2 has the same ammo clip as the SAW. The power-up version sports a 250 round clip rather than the much-better prefered 400 so you cannot get a chance of seeing how slow/fast its reload is until you buy the actual gun. A controversial gun; not that great compared to the RPD with its slow fire rate. Good on ammo though with it's 400-round magazine. Good gun if you want to save your bullets and are too lazy to lift your finger. Your choice if you buy it or not. Its best to either buy this gun or the MG4 because they both have the same cost.
