The HVM 008 is an LMG introduced in SAS: Zombie Assault 4. It is most likely the first LMG you will get (Second if you are a Heavy, after the Z-5).


A large drum magazine is the 008's main benefit, allowing it to fire into hordes for extended amounts of time. However, that does little to cover that the 008 is overall at the back part of pack in statistics versus many of the other LMGs, with only average damage (although it does have decent pierce) and a painstakingly slow reload time stacked with a massive movement penalty. It literally only just beats the CM 351 Sunflare, an SMG, with slightly higher damage (and only in the normal version), higher pierce, and clip size, while getting outclassed on DPS and reload time.


HVM 008 is possibly inspired of the combination of M60 (appearance) & MG34 (using drums as feed system).

Difference on Mobile

Just like the rest of HVM weapons, HVM 008 don't have digital camouflage. Mobile's HVM 008 has longer buttstock.
