The Glock 17 (shortened as G17)is a real life semi-automatic pistol featured in SAS: Zombie Assault 3 as the first available pistol in the game.
Overview[]
Damage per bullet wise, the Glock 17 is the one of the weakest weapons in the game, second only to the GECAL 50 Sentry Gun. It combines a decent fire rate with excellent accuracy to help bring down most zombies easily early on in the game. It also has the largest magazine size of all the non-premium pistols, with the exception of the MAC-10. It also boasts a fast reload speed (despite what the stats say) and great mobility, making it perfect for getting in close to enemies without taking many hits, however this is a feature shared by all pistols.
Unfortunately, there are many cons to this weapon. For example, due to its limited range, its excellent accuracy is lost at a distance. Beyond rank 7 when the Mamushka makes its first appearance, the Glock 17 is extremely ineffective and using it whilst cornered is head-on suicide. As soon as players have the opportunity, the Glock 17 should be replaced with the free M1 Garand or the Raging Bull .44.
