- ―How to Play
The Choker (also called the Strangler) is a type of Zombie. They are uncommon in SAS: Zombie Assault 2/SAS: Zombie Assault 2 Insane Asylum, but are quite common in SAS: Zombie Assault 3. The SAS 2 version seems to be very similar of Ju On: The Grudge series but legless, and The SAS 3 version also seems to be very similar the Leaper Necromorph from the Dead Space franchise.
Differences between 2 & 3[]
Choker in SAS2
The Choker sees major differences between SAS 2 and 3. It is much weaker and slower in 3 than it was in 2. Whereas in SAS 2 it can take around 90 bullets or more to kill one with the starting pistol, SAS 3 requires around 10 bullets from the starting pistol. In SAS 3, they are the weakest type of zombie in terms of attack strength (which isn't the case in SAS 2/Insane Asylum).
Also, the original had white skin and a black head, as opposed to the updated pink head and peach skin. The Choker is the most balanced enemy in Zombie Assault 3.

A regular Choker, along with red variant and green variant in SAS 3.
Like the other zombies of Zombie Assault 3, the Choker also has stronger red and green variants.
Tactics:[]
SAS 2[]
The L115A1 will kill it in about four shots.
SAS 3[]
Around ten shots with a low level pistol will kill it. Green and Red Variants have slightly more health which in turn requires more firepower.
